of Science in Computer Science - MSc (CS)
Programme Objective
This programme equips
students with the deep knowledge of
sophisticated applications of Information
Technology. Students will also be exposed to
skills required for the application of
electronics for telecommunication and its
usefulness in software development. Syllabus
includes advanced fields such as digital
telecommunication, wireless mobile
communication,
broadband communication, e-business, website
management and Database Management
etc. Successful candidates will be able to take
up advanced programming jobs in the corporate
sector.
Eligibility :
Graduate in Science/IT/CS
Registration Fee : Rs. 500/- at the time
of admission only
Programme Fee : Rs. 8,500/- per Sem.
Examination Fee : Rs. 500/- per Sem.
Minimum Duration : 2 years (4 Semesters)
Maximum Duration : 4 years

Second Semester: BIT/BCA/BSc. IT/BSc. Comp.
Sc./BE/ BTech/ Graduate in Science + PG.
Diploma in IT/ DOEACC
'A” level / One year IT Diploma /Certificate
Lateral Entry
Fee & Examination
Candidate applying for Lateral Entry will pay
Lateral Entry Fee Rs. 3000/- and will have to
appear and pass the First Semester with the
Examination of Second Semester. Books of the
First Semester will be supplied by the
University and student will complete their
internal assessment at DESC.
Minimum
Counseling: It is based on credits and one
credit amounts to 15 hours counseling and
hands-on experience at DESC.
* The students
who have completed graduation other than
Science/IT/CS may also take admission in
M.Sc.(IT). However, they have to study
preparatory module of science courses of 16
